After the huge success of our last Deep-House playlist, I definitely had to compile another one. Again, we’re calling this playlist “Deep-House” but it also embraces Nu-Disco, House and Minimal, all united under the same atmosphere and feelings. This one includes big acts and well-established producers, such as Mario Basanov, Rene Bourgeois, Andrés or Rodriguez Jr, alongside mindblowing tracks from newcomers Camelphat, Parra For Cuva, Electronic Youth and our beloved guys Tough Love.

Actually, let’s kick things off with these guys! London-based duo Tough Love caught us with their amazing track “Everything Hurts”, which has been released in September on Sleazy Deep. It features a simple yet well-used sample from Johnny Cash, contrasting with the heavy bassline that turns everything apart a few minutes later. Sweet banger! Buy it now on Beatport.

Mario Basanov, again and again. While his sublime album is soon to be out, the guy continues to provide us with one of the freshest remix of the last weeks. 80′s synthetisors, Jamiroquai-esque vocals, funky guitars, strong bassline… yeah, he got it all. Mario brings summer to your body and soul while it’s getting cold outside. Buy it now on Whatpeopleplay.

What an amazing discovery we’ve got here. I have to thank Soundcloud for this one. Parra For Cuva, who’s based in Berlin, gives us an astonishing, incredibly produced and highly emotional track. Vocals from his friend Anna Naklab will give you goosebumps like never and the music will take you away from everything. And guess what? It’s a free download! Thank you Parra For Cuva for this great moment. We are keeping two eyes on you! Download it now (for some mysterious reason, the track is unavailable at the moment).

Last minute addition for this new remix by the highly esteemed French producer Rodriguez Jr. Now part of the Mobilee family since almost 2 years, Rodriguez signs another strong production work with this Techy, Deep-Jazz-infused remix for Ray Okpara “Chi This Wonder Up”. The reverbing beat, added to a multi-layered sub-bassline and background synths are creating an amazing building, leading us to a super-effective drop.  Buy the EP on Beatport now.

New talent alert (!!) with Camelphat, the fresh recruit from Jeudi Records. His track “Loose Lips” – which reminds me of PillowTalk’s edits for W+L Black – is based on a sample from the legendary “Cherie d’Amour” by Stevie Wonder. Camelphat adds a good House beat, levels up the bassline, samples and loops the vocals and add that little someting that makes the difference. Instant favourite! We can’t wait until the release date, which is totally unknown so far.

Following his last blasting EP including the track “New 4 U”, Andrés comes back on his mysterious La Vida imprint with 3 new tracks. He keeps the same soulful atmosphere with a raw Chicago-House style including strong Jazz and Black-Music elements. The track “Second Time Around” is a rework, with some keyboards addition, of the A1 track from his KDJ29 EP, released in 2001. Buy the EP on Juno Records.

It’s been a long time we didn’t post anything from Acker Records.. but this release from Rene Bourgeois is so huge we couldn’t miss it. While I’m feeling a little bit uncomfortable with the naive French lyrics, I have to salute the amazing work from Rene Bourgeois and Dan Caster. Here they are producing a beautiful, melancholic House ballad. We couldnt have imagine to see this track on any other label than Acker, with its typical sound, halfway between Deep, Tech, Minimal and Jazz. Buy and discover Acker Records music on Beatport.

Is there a better way to end this selection than with a Free Download? I guess not! Electronic Youth gives a good 2012-Deep-House twist to this House Classic from 1988 – yeah, most of you weren’t even born at this time. As I told you, it’s a free download… so grab it now!
