It’s time to please your senses, soothe your soul and get your ass up dancing with Le Electrocorp Boombox #020! Fresh and deep with a sprinkling of Tech-House and big tunes from Luca Bacchetti, Sishi Rosch & Damian Uzabiaga, Flow & Zeo, Audiojack, DJ W!LD, Adam Shelton, Davide Squillace, Philip Bader, Enzo Siragusa and Catz ‘N Dogz… just in time for the lovely weekend.

First up is Luca Bacchetti’s epic ray of sunshine “A Night in Naussau” forthcoming late September on the “Bahamas EP” via Culprit LA. Well known worldwide in the underground dance scene for his emotional and versatile productions, the Italian DJ/Producer delivers a radiant, multifaceted debut release for the Los Angeles based label. Tinged with vintage vibes, beaming with deep beats and a splash of electro waves, the lead track “A Night in Nassau” will take you to the Bahamas first class, without ever having to leave the dancefloor.

From the unique and fulfilling sounds of a veteran, we move on to a very talented pair of fairly new producers, who goes by the names of Sishi Rosch and Damian Uzabiaga with their newest release on Get Physical Music entitled “Work That Body”. If you’ve never heard of ‘Gangsta Disco’ or ‘G-House’, then this track is the perfect introduction to a genre infused with glittering Disco ball vibes and tasty Hip-Hop flavored beats. Delicious!

If Deep-Raw-Gangsta-Disco just isn’t your thing, then maybe you’d prefer Deep-Tech-Nu-Disco? Well, whatever you want to label it, Brazil is where it’s at and Flow & Zeo are definitely bringing it, making a strong debut on London-based Kote Records with their harder, deeper, darker Nu-Disco underground sound. More Funk, less Disco!

While Brazil is busy trying to make a name for itself in the EDM scene, recently established Leeds-based DJs, producers and Gruuv Records label owners Audiojack are preparing their next big release, set to drop this Monday. On the B-side of the release, we have “Night Watch”. Heavy basslines and groovy percussions paired with sudden drops and sparse vocals are the perfect formula to make this number a dancefloor destroyer. The highly anticipated EP will also include a 20 year old tribute to Jaydee’s electronic classic “Plastic Dreams”. Now get your dance on!

As we near the end of this week’s playlist, we leave the groovy Disco vibes behind and move on to deeper, darker, sexier, Tech-House beats. DJ W!LD delivers the goods with his forthcoming “Circo Fever EP” which will be released on Subb-an and Adam Shelton’s label One Records. The Circo Loco resident DJ W!LD has been turning heads lately and it’s about time people take notice of his talent! Turn it up and get down!

We have finally made it to my favorite track of the week! And what a bomb it is! The Italian producer and label head of This and That imprint, Davide Squillace, teams up with Berlin’s techno scene veteran Philip Bader for the second release on the newly created label. “Wild Things” includes two originals and two remixes by the likes of Carola Pisaturo and Enzo Siragusa, whom serve up two of the sexiest grooves that have seduced my senses in a long while. Though I adore it all from start to finish, Enzo’s remix is still a cut above the rest with his smooth, ‘deeper than deep’ bassline and whispering, hypnotizing vocals. I am slave to this and loving every minute of it.

Now I leave you with the biggest, dirtiest, sure to be enjoyed by anyone who loves to get down on the dance-floor, and I mean WAY down, number one track for the month of August on Resident Advisor, Grzegorz Demianczuk & Wojciech Taranczuk aka Catz ‘N Dogz booty shaker “They Frontin”. Representing Poland in a big way! Much love, always. Dena
